The Food and Drug Authority has established the electronic tracking system for pharmaceutical preparations (Rasd) as part of its plan to contribute to achieving the “Vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030” by adopting the latest technical means and using them to track and trace all human medicines manufactured inside the Kingdom or imported from abroad.

The system contributes to enhancing the authority’s role in protecting the authority in protecting society, enhancing control, and ensuring the safety of medicines, by knowing their source and the stages they went through from manufacturing to reaching the consumer.
